ABOUT OFF TO THE RACES
Off to the Races began as a local racial healing group on the West Side of Chicago, wherein community members gathered for weekly group sessions to address racial trauma and learn racial history in America. Now, Off to the Races is a local racial healing INITIAVE committed to bringing the resources, voices, stories, and comradery beyond the group.
Come and Join the Movement
Come and join this movement to help the constituents in zip codes 60612 and 60624. In October, 2020, the community requested two things of “Off to the Races”. One, to live in a safe neighborhood. Two, a quality education for our children. We are committed to providing those two services for this underserved population. Everyone has an obligation to protect our children, wives, husbands, sons, daughters, partners, men, seniors, friends, and families.
